The entire concept behind Glassskinz® started with drawings of unique concepts of S550 Mustang Window Louvers! The offerings on the market were so boring. The same old design applied to new body styles since the 60's! Mustang Rear Window Louvers were in desperate need of a makeover! This led to our first design for the Mustang Window Louvers with our Tekno 1 open port design, a first of its kind. Two open ports, left and right with a center waterfall, allowed complete visibility with no obstruction. The center waterfall is real low profile unlike current designs on the market that looks plain mean! It too was designed to ensure no rear view obstruction. We met a lot of push back from Mustang Window Louvers lovers at first but then it caught on as we featured this first design at SEMA in 2016. Following we created 3 more designs and have a couple more waiting in the wings for introduction. This Glassskinz® design Mustang Rear Window Louver is so unique we received Patent D825,419S on it as a rear mustang window valance not just a louver!

Customer Returns

You may return a Glassskinz® that is non painted within 7 days of receiving your order and receive a refund of your costs as long as the merchandise is in fully resalable condition (no damage, no scratches, no wear and tear). EXCLUDES ALL Custom Painted Parts. Custom painted items have a no return policy. Please email [email protected] for an RMA (return merchandise authorization number).
All returns must have its original packaging with freight prepaid and insured. All returns will be assessed the industry standard 10%-35% restocking fee. Returns must be made within 5 days of "Return Authorization" date. Any returns must be noted with a full description on the front of the manifest or bill of lading in order to be recognized as valid along with RMA number written on the box. Do GLASSSKINZ® obstruct visibility?
No. We are the only rear window valence to have passed the NHTSA rear view visibility testing. From the outside it gives the illusion that it cannot be seen through, however, from inside the cabin it is designed to essentially vanish. How do GLASSSKINZ®Install?
The GLASSSKINZ®adhere to your rear glass with Genuine USA Made 3M brand OEM grade VHB tape . Rated -20 degrees to 200 degrees Fahrenheit . The tape is pre installed and pre tabbed for quick installation. Primer 94 ampules are provided for more secure bond.

How do I clean the glass?
GLASSSKINZ® are designed not to be removed ,however, still allow you to clean the viewed through glass. Cleaning under the louvers is done with a glass cleaning arm or microfiber cloth and 20/20 glass cleaner. There is enough room for most people to fit their hand or a wand under the louver openings. Spot free water can also be used to clean the glass. Water flows out through the bottom of the louver.

Warranty

GLASSSKINZ® offers a limited lifetime warranty on the part for defects in workmanship or material. 6 Month on paint. Paint Warranty: Clients that select the Extended Paint Warranty and have a claim will result in a $100 dollar reimbursement along with a free of charge re installation kit.

Outstanding Design, Quality and Service

I had been reviewing several rear window louver/valence units from the major big name aftermarket players, like CJ Pony, American Muscle and Amazon. I even ordered a IKON V2 and it arrived and was basically very poorly made, very thin in thickness of material and poor finish. Just a box and a clear sheet cover. Sent it back. Came across GlassSkinz. Called and was connected to the owner who spent about 30 minutes on the phone answering my questions and concerns Great guy. So I took a chance and ordered a Techno 1 S550 in Raw Gloss Black. Unit arrived and was a massive upgrade in fitment, finish, quality and even the shipping container. Wrapped in 1/8" poly foam, then sheet wrapped in clear plastic sealed. Heavy Duty shipping blocks in the slots. Marine Grade ABS, not the the thin "paper-plate" stuff from IKON. Finish was top notch. This product is worth EVERY dime over anything else I looked at and even ordered and sent back. 3M tape was pre-applied and cut. Adhesive accelerator pens were included. Plus a ton of marketing material. Overall you simply get what you pay for. And this product is worth more than what I paid. Is it more expensive than IKON? Yes. Is it worth it? YES, every dime. The Raw Gloss Black looks outstanding on my 2020 California Special Mustang GT in Shadow Black body color. I had Ford Performance apply the GT-350 Factory Upgrade prior to taking delivery to the intake system which is the manifold up, new throttle body, intake system and a crate of parts. This also came with the Ford Performance limited edition side rear quarter window scoops you see which are not full sized to make the rear quarter glass look like a pillar, and the window scoops have matching Ford Honeycombs inside the pocket that match the GT-CS body scoops and hood inserts, Roush racing fender brackets and hydraulic hood struts, no prop rod, and LED side markers and a LED backup light. Love the way this thing accents the tail lights from the rear. Thank You GlassSkinz. If you are thinking you are spending too much, forget it, you will be amazed at the difference this product presents over others.
